Rescue date 6/30/20 Meet little Miss MUFFIN. She is a very sweet, humble Yorkie / Maltese Mix girl. She came to us as an owner release from someone who 'had no time for her'. It was obvious that she had been terribly neglected physically and emotionally for some time. Her coat was matted and filled with foxtails. We had a full blood workup performed prior to scheduling her for her spay. Additional surgery was required for a full dental procedure which included a thorough dental cleaning along with extraction of several decayed teeth. A peek into her ears while she was under anesthesia resulted in extraction of several problematic foxtails that had lodged deep within her ear canals. As a resilient little senior girl at 9 yrs. old, MUFFIN is now healthy, happy, and full of great energy. At 8 lbs. she's a great size as a lapdog and travel companion. She would be an ideal fit for an active senior person or couple who could provide her with socialization and special attention which she has been lacking and SO deserves. She doesn't expect much, so having a second chance to live a full life of love and happiness would really mean a LOT to her. The Adoption Fee for MUFFIN is $375 and includes spay, up-to-date vaccines, full blood panel, teeth cleaning and dental, microchip with registration, and grooming.
